Our neighbors have finally gotten their power restored! Dozens of houses have been without power for 6 days! I am so relieved and happy for them. I am also amazed by how well people handled the situation. I honestly don't know if I would have been as good. I did not hear a lot of complaining, but heard how family and friends helped out. How great is that?! We all need each other!!
Well, this hospitality gal did not come to any one's rescue. That's okay. My lesson, just be available.
